For the last few days, there have been rumblings that the Notre Dame baseball team was brewing up something big. On Wednesday, just what was going on was unveiled when slugger Ace Sapp announced his commitment to the Fighting Irish.
Sapp is a member of the 2027 class and has played both shortstop and outfield out of Las Vegas, Nevada. At 6-foot, 2-inch and 180 pounds, the younger Sapp is one of the better prospects in the country, and is a nice recruiting win for the Irish baseball team.
