It is not unusual for teams on the East Coast or in the Eastern Time Zone to play teams on the West Coast in the Pacific Time Zone, but what is really tough is the big time change and how it affects kickoff. Since USC, UCLA, Washington, and Oregon joined the Big Ten, there have been a lot more of these matchups, and the times of games have gotten even worse.
For Notre Dame, which of course, is not in a conference, they sometimes end up playing teas on the West Coast, just like they are this week.
