The Notre Dame Fighting Irish finally released their spring football practice schedule on Wednesday. The Irish will get things started this Saturday and spread 14 practices out over the course of the next month with the Blue-Gold game scheduled for May 1.

There will be NO media viewings allowed for the spring practices. I’ve been stating this for a few weeks now, and despite states opening up — or whatever — Notre Dame will practice with an abundance of caution. Also... with a new defensive coordinator in Marcus Freeman and new transfer quarterback in Jack Coan, did you really think Notre Dame wasn’t going to find an option to keep things in house?
