Notre Dame football held its annual Pro Day on Thursday and there were plenty of scouts and NFL Draft analysts in attendence. One of the heavy hitters watching and taking notes on the sidelines was Mike Mayock of the NFL Network.
In interviews given after the session was over, Mayock gushed about what he saw from Notre Dame’s offensive linemen. He even went so far as to say that Notre Dame’s two big names in the position group — Quenton Nelson and Mike McGlinchey — could very well be the first two linemen drafted.
As far as Nelson is concerned, him being taken as the first lineman in the 2018 NFL Draft shouldn’t shock many.
