Just when Notre Dame football fans thought they could relax a bit about the possibility of Marcus Freeman leaving this winter, the New York Giants came along and fired head coach Brian Daboll.
It took no time at all for Freeman's name to be mentioned as a possible candidate for the Giants' job; however, it's hard to know if he'd be a real target by the NFL team.
