The Notre Dame quarterback battle is still going strong in South Bend, and Kenny Minchey is happy to be in the middle of it. The young freshman quarterback said in recent weeks that he believes he is still very much in the battle and that he deserves to be the starter.
When asked during media availability about feeling the pressure in this quarterback battle, Micnehy didn't even bat an eye at the question.
"This is what I asked for," Minchey said. "I can't get mad about what's on my plate."
Minchey and CJ Carr are both working as hard as they can in order to win the starting position, but it doesn't seem like head coach Marcus Freeman is ready to name who the starter will be.
