There was only one NFL preseason game on Thursday night. The defending world champion Philadelphia Eagles took on the Cleveland Browns in a contest that ended with a baseball score — a 5-0 Browns win. While both teams struggled overall offensively, former Irish running back Josh Adams looked impressive for the second time in three preseason games.
Adams carried the ball four times for 33 yards. His longest run of the night was 13 yards and his 8.3 yards per carry led all Eagles rushers.
He was also targeted three times in the passing game, catching two passes — although he finished with negative yardage.
