Deion Colzie appears set to end his recruiting process where it began, with Notre Dame. The consensus four-star receiver rejoined the Irish class of 2021 on Monday, six months after decommitting from his original October pledge.
Colzie (Athens Academy; Ga.) said he felt he had made a rushed decision when he reopened his recruitment. Six months of quarantine should have helped slow that down by now, and in his recent comments to Blue & Gold Illustrated, it came across as a sure thing that Colzie would make today’s choice for Notre Dame, rather than Tennessee or Florida.
