Notre Dame football coach Brian Kelly told reporters suspended running back Greg Bryant would have the option to return to the Fighting Irish after this season, but that does not seem to be Bryant's plan.

The Delray Beach, Fla., native was a four-star recruit and among the top 100 players in the country when he committed to Notre Dame, but he did not have a major impact on the field in South Bend.
