Faison Selected As Burlsworth Trophy Nominee
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Senior wide receiver Jordan Faison has been named a nominee for the 2026 Burlsworth Trophy, which honors the top player in college football who began his career as a walk-on player. The Weston, Florida product was a semifinalist last season and has been named a nominee each of the last three seasons.
Faison leads the team this season with 38 receptions, 497 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He also serves as Notre Dame’s primary punt returner, posting ten punt returns for 137 yards, including a career-long of 37 in the win over Stanford.
