Elite RB recruit rips Penn State while seemingly aiming his sights at Notre Dame

Fresh off a game where Jeremiyah Love set a Notre Dame stadium record for rushing yards in a game, it looks like the Fighting Irish have impressed top 2027 running back prospect Kemon Spell enough that he got an official prediction that he'll commit to Marcus Freeman and Co. in the very near future. But that's not what made the most noise on Sunday; it was what Spell said about why he decommitted from Penn State that might cause some shockwaves.

"I was leaning towards (decommitting) anyway, regardless, because they started losing and I want to be in a winning program," Spell told On3 this weekend.
