Notre Dame football fans who are already tired of doomscrolling through all the comments about the College Football Playoff bracket and how poorly the committee did, do have something else they could be doing. Fighting Irish fans could watch Riley Leonard make his NFL regular-season debut.
Leonard has been on the cusp of getting into the game the last few weeks due to the Indianapolis Colts starting quarterback, Daniel Jones, playing with a broken fibula. Ironically, when Jones exited the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, it was due to a totally unrelated leg injury.
