On Saturday, July 24, 2021, a candlelight vigil will be held at Little Sam’s Market (3756 Mission Blvd). Mr. John Kouris, founder of Saturday Sun Productions, is inviting the San Diego community to join in honoring Demetrius DuBose on the anniversary of of his death, 22 years ago (July 24, 1999). Dubose lost his life after being shot to death 13 times by two San Diego Police Officers. Demetrius DuBose was just 28 years old.
The vigil will begin promptly at 8:00 PM (PST), at which time participants will walk from Little Sam’s Market to Santa Clara Point on Mission Bay.
