Arike Ogunbowale has long since cemented her name in as a legend for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, but in a 89-61 victory over the Duke Blue Devils, she put a stamp of gold on it as well.
Ogunbowale passed Skylar Diggins as the all-time leading scorer in Notre Dame history with a bucket in the second half. Arike cam into the game just 11 points shy of the record, and now that she owns it — that total will just keep climbing with every single game.
Arike became a national name with the national championship run the Irish went on last season.
