The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are 5-1 and ranked #13 in both polls. After a much needed bye week, the Irish are ready to play the USC Trojans for the Jeweled Shillelagh. Because of crazy ass 2020 covid stuff, Notre Dame and Southern Cal did not play last year — so this week finally feels like a return to normalcy for the Irish football schedule.
