Realistic and dream don’t always go together, and for Notre Dame that is often times the case. However, on the heels of back-to-back terrific seasons and a 2018 playoff birth, 2020 recruiting looks promising early on.
The Irish typically recruit at a very good, but not elite level — usually finishing in the 10-15 range. The coaching staff tends to be picky in their selection process. They recruit mostly out of catholic school systems, targeting promising student-athletes and men of high character.
This isn’t to rag on other universities or student-athletes, but Notre Dame is simply unique.
