The wait is finally over for Dexter Williams in the NFL Draft as the Green Bay Packers selected the dynamic running back with the 22nd pick of the 6th round.
Dexter had an up and down career for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish — but he was always considered to be one of the most electric players on the team. After three years of playing spot duty, Dexter was finally able to be “the man” in his senior year. That too came with a a pause when he was suspended for the first four games of the year due to an undisclosed violation of school rules.
