Related Topics: Loyola Ramblers, The Independent

The Notre Dame women’s soccer team is now 2-0 after a quality second half against the Loyola Ramblers on Sunday night.

It was more or less a stalemate for most of the game with neither team scoring a goal until late in the second half. Loyola scored first after the 70th minute, but the Irish scored a few minutes later on a Sabrina Flores goal in the box following a Jennifer Westendorf cross.

A few minutes after that, Westendorf got a goal of her own with a header into the net after a Flores corner kick.
