Predicting Notre Dame's 2016 Recruiting Class

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish landed another top recruiting class on National Signing Day, and head coach Brian Kelly has already turned his attention to the 2016 recruiting class. Here are the guys we think Notre Dame will reel in next year:

OT Tommy Kraemer - Kraemer has already signed with Notre Dame, and the five-star tackle will make an impact in South Bend right away. At 6’5″ and 305 pounds, he has strength that makes him a great run blocker along the size and footwork to be an effective pass blocker.

WR Tre Nixon —Notre Dame, Penn State and Alabama are the top three for the 6'1", 180 pound wideout, but recruiter Tony Alford has made Nixon the top target in the state of Florida for the Irish.

QB Ervin Barrett — The 6-2, 213-pound four-star target looking at Notre Dame, Auburn, Clemson, Ohio State and Louisville, but the Irish are the favorite to land him after signing good friend and four-star running back Dexter Williams this year.

TE Luke Farrell — Farrell is still waiting for a Notre Dame offer, but that will be coming soon since Jake Hausmann commmitted to Ohio State, he will be getting the offer he wants soon.

RB Robert Washington —The North Carolina has visited Notre Dame four times, and the Irish are the favorite to edge out UNC for this four-star back.

WR Joshua Hammond — Hammond received an offer from Notre Dame at the end of January, and him and his family are very interested in the school. The Irish are the favorite even though is brother went to Florida.

OL Parker Boudreaux — He is offensive line coach Harry Hiestand’s top remaining target after Kraemer's commitment. Boudreaux's decision will come down to Clemson and Notre Dame.

DL Patrick Bethel —Bethel was a perceived lock to follow in his father's footsteps and go to Miami, but he has said that isn't the case and Notre Dame is a big, big player here.

DL Naquan Jones — Jones is waiting on Notre Dame to offer a scholarship, and that's coming soon. Notre Dame is very interested in him and is a favorite along with Wisconsin and Michigan State.

DL Dexter Lawrence — Lawrence wants to get away from North Carolina and is looking at Florida, Ohio State and Michigan and Notre Dame heavily.

LB Curtis Robinson — He picked up his offer from Notre Dame in January, and is favoring the Irish because he's good friends with former Mater Dei teammate linebacker Joe Schmidt.

CB Brandon Burton — Academics are extremely important to the California native, making Notre Dame and Stanford major players for him. USC, Florida State and UCLA are also in the mix, but the Irish appear to have a leg up.

LB Lokeni Toailoa — On Signing Day, the staff called Toailoa to make it well known how important he is to the staff. He looks up to former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Teo, and Toailoa thinks he'd be a great fit in Notre Dame's defense.

CB Chauncey Gardner — Gardner decommitted from Florida after picking up an offer from Notre Dame, and has made it clear to the Irish staff that they are in his top group.

Devin Studstill — Studstill has a great relationship with Notre Dame's coaching staff. Notre Dame is fighting off West Virginia and Michigan State.

Craig Watts — Watts is heavily favoring Notre Dame, but he hasn't been to South Bend yet. Getting on campus this spring should lead to him committing to the Irish.
