Notre Dame Recruiting News: Irish offer scholarship to Cordell Broadus, Snoop Dogg's son

After targeting one of the top DEs in the 2015 class, Notre Dame made another bold scholarship offer today. Cordell Broadus, (you might know his father Calvin as Snoop Dogg, or more recently Snoop Lion) is one of the top receiver prospects in the 2015 class.

A four-star prospect according to both Rivals and 24/7, Broadus has the size (he's 6'3, 186 lbs) and the speed (he runs a 4.5 40-yard dash) to project well at the college level. Notre Dame is the eleventh school to offer him a scholarship, and his other suitors include USC (who were leading the pack until Lane Kiffin's recent departure), LSU, UCLA, and Tennessee.

Broadus, who currently attends Diamond Bar (Calif.) High School, had 38 catches for 513 yards and seven touchdowns last season.
