3 Players Who Stood Out Most At Notre Dame Fall Camp

The start of the college football season is almost here, which means teams are wrapping up fall camps. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are one of those teams. SB Nation was at Notre Dame's fall camp, and here are the three players that stood out the most.

Jaylon Smith

The freak athlete linebacker is Notre Dame's best player. He can do it all at LB; dropping into coverage, rushing the QB and stopping the run. He should have a monster season that will get him into the conversation for best NFL Draft prospect after this year.

Ronnie Stanley

Stanley could have turned pro and been a first round pick, but elected to come back for his senior season. He's great in both pass protection and run blocking. He'll be a huge help for new QB Malik Zaire and running back Tarean Folston.

KeiVarae Russell

Russell was on the verge of becoming one of the top corners in college football before academic issues cost him all of last season. He's back and didn't get beat very often in fall camp. Russell should be a big boost to the Notre Dame secondary.
