Norwich City Under-23s took another three points after their 2-1 win against Aston Villa on Friday afternoon, with recently recalled Louis Thompson assisting a goal.
Other recalled loanees, such as Simon Power and Josh Coley made appearances in the game, with Thompson also captaining the side on his return from Shrewsbury Town. Looking to contribute early on, Thompson assisted a fast-break Canaries goal, with Shae Hutchinson getting his name on the scoresheet by the fourth-minute.
The Villans tried to answer back with a goal of their own soon on, Jacob Ramsey seeing his shot firing over the bar after a low cross across the 18-yard box.
