Sam Byram admitted he was “lost for words” after Norwich City’s 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Boxing Day.
The Canaries enjoyed the better of the fixture throughout and created significantly better chances, with Byram going close by hitting the crossbar and heading inches wide in the second half.
Ultimately, it was the home side who displayed the ruthless edge in front of goal, with Conor Hourihane's 64th-minute strike the difference at Villa Park.
Speaking to canaries.co.uk after the game, Byram said: “I’m a little bit lost for words as to how we haven’t won it.
