Norwich City captain Kenny McLean says the players are to blame for the club's predicament near the foot of the Championship.
The Canaries suffered a fourth successive defeat at Derby County on Tuesday, a result that dropped them into the relegation places.
It also increased speculation about whether head coach Liam Manning, who has only been in charge since the summer, will lose his job.
"The position we are in is completely on us. I feel the fans' frustration, I feel their anger. It's their club and we've got the privilege of representing them, representing this football club and right now we're not doing enough and that's why we get the reaction we're getting," McLean told BBC Radio Norfolk.
