Norwich City footballer Shane Duffy has been reprimanded by his manager for derogatory comments he made to a fan on social media.
The centre-back used insulting words while responding to a supporter's criticism on X after Tuesday's 0-1 defeat to Derby County - the Canaries' seventh after 11 games, which put them in the Championship relegation zone.
The 33-year-old has since apologised for his outburst, and said it came out of "frustration, not a lack of respect for supporters".
