An away section of more than 1700 chanted that Rowett's football was 'sh**', applauded Norwich fans who suggested he would be 'sacked in the morning' before eventually declaring that they wanted him 'out' themselves.
Rowett almost led the Lions to the play-offs last season, when a 3-1 lead at home to Blackburn was turned into a 4-3 defeat, but whatever goodwill remained after that appears now to have evaporated.
