Norwich City loanee Dan Adshead made his first start for Gillingham in front of a home crowd in a 2-1 win over Morecambe on Saturday.
The midfielder’s debut came just two days after making the season-long move to the Gills, playing 51 minutes before being substituted off.
Elsewhere, Sebastian Soto scored his first goal in his third appearance for Porto B. The forward found the back of the net for Porto’s only goal before coming off in the 70th minute in the Portuguese side’s 1-1 draw with Nacional.
Josip Drmic continued his goalscoring form over in Croatia, coming on in the 52nd minute and scoring a penalty just 12 minutes later.
