Kenny McLean admits a return to playing competitive football is something he has been looking forward for a long while, after finally overcoming his injury nightmare.
McLean signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Club in January and stayed at previous club Aberdeen for the remainder of the 2017-18 season on loan, before officially moving to Norfolk in the summer.
He featured in City’s first three games of this season but was initially ruled out of action for a month with an ankle ligament injury sustained in the Carabao Cup win over Stevenage.
However, complications with the injury and subsequent surgery have meant a much longer spell on the sidelines.
