Jordan Rhodes: I'm just happy to help the team

Jordan Rhodes said it was a great feeling to come off the bench and score in front of the travelling fans as City came from behind to pick up a point at West Brom.

Rhodes’ 83rd minute goal cancelled out Dwight Gayle’s opener in the first half, ending the game 1-1.

And the Norwich striker, who praised the determination of his teammates, said he was delighted to be able to help his side get a result they deserved.

“It was good to get the goal,” said Rhodes. “I’m just happy to help the team in whatever circumstance it might be, whether it’s to come on as a sub and help set up goals, I just want to give my all whenever I’m on the pitch.
