Norwich City can confirm that Yanic Wildschut is to undergo surgery on Tuesday after damaging his ankle ligaments while on loan at fellow Championship side Bolton Wanderers.
The injury happened during Bolton's FA Cup match against Walsall, with the Dutch winger due to be out of action for up to three months.
Following the operation Wildschut will embark on a rehabilitation programme with Wanderers’ medical staff.
