Hibernian 1-3 Rangers: Visitors record an emphatic victory to kick-start their end-of-season run-in as Michael Beale's side score three times on third trip to Easter Road against underwhelming opposition

Hibernian failed to provide Rangers with any significant test during the visitor's third trip to Easter Road this season.

Rangers kick-started their final end-of-season run-in by scoring three times in a comfortable win against Hibernian.

James Tavernier opened the scoring with a 32nd minute strike to put Michael Beale's side in firm control of the tie.

His strike was backed up by second-half goals from Ianis Hagi and former Norwich City star Todd Cantwell who has thrived in his first season north of the border.

Hibernian centre-back Paul Hanlon scored a late consolation as Rangers recorded their 28th victory of the Scottish top-flight season.
