Norwich City Football Club is delighted to welcome special guests Pip and Alan Harrison as our Community Heroes for our match against Millwall on Saturday as we mark our annual support for The Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.
Norwich City fans Pip, 103 and 5 months old, and brother Alan, 96 and 11 months old, joined the Royal Navy during the Second World War and are now celebrating a combined age of 200 years.
During World War Two, Pip served as a signalman on several Russian arctic convoys and was then commissioned to serve in the Indian Ocean off Ceylon and received four campaign medals out of the five principal areas of naval conflict including the Burma Star.
