Norwich City Football Club is delighted to welcome a group of cyclists as our Community Heroes for our fixture against Derby County.
The team of five - Alan Gray, Matt Parkhouse, Glynn Thomas, David Messiter and Ricky Forder - took part in our Community Sports Foundation’s Koblenz to Norwich cycle challenge earlier this year and raised an impressive £6,000 for a number of the Foundation’s programmes, which support disadvantaged and disabled individuals through sport.
The epic challenge saw the cyclists embark on a 419-mile adventure across Northern Europe, taking in a host of famous cities, including Bonn, Cologne, Eindhoven, Amsterdam and The Hague.
