Arsenal and Aston Villa have both submitted official bids for Norwich City star Emiliano Buendia, according to reports.
The Sun claim both Arsenal and Aston Villa have made £30million-plus offers for Buendia, who is valued at £40m by newly-promoted Norwich with a percentage sell-on due to his former club Getafe.
The Gunners recently opened talks over a move for Buendia as they look to head off competition from Villa.
There is an acceptance that Buendia will leave and Arsenal's new director of football Richard Garlick seems determined to make the 24-year old their first signing of the summer.
