The Wisconsin Badgers have had a pretty good season up to this point. After starting the year with an embarrassing loss to the now-second ranked Alabama Crimson Tide, the team has gone 8-1, only losing to the undefeated Iowa Hawkeyes since.
The Badgers have a bye week and then play the Northwestern Wildcats next week for sole possession of second place in the Big Ten West. This has by far been a very successful year under first-year head coach Paul Chryst.
According to College Football Talk, one Wisconsin sportswriter says that it shows the contrasting differences between Chryst and predecessor head coach Gary Andersen, who went 19-7 in two seasons with the Badgers.
