Denver Broncos starting quarterback and Northwestern alum Trevor Siemian has been named one of the five captains for the 2017 Broncos by head coach Vance Joseph, the team announced on Twitter Wednesday afternoon.
This is a great honor for Siemian, who is entering just his third season in the NFL. Touchdown Trev, as we like to call him around these parts, was announced as the Broncos’ starter a couple weeks ago, having beaten out former first-round pick Paxton Lynch for the second straight year.
Joining Siemian as captains, as you can see in the tweet above, are Von Miller, Aqib Talib, Demaryius Thomas, and Brandon McManus.
