In the midst of a quiet and seemingly uneventful Father’s Day, class of 2021 small forward Brooks Barnhizer verbally committed to Northwestern, according to a video he posted on Twitter.
The Indiana native chose Northwestern over a wide range of schools including Xavier, Western Kentucky, Butler and Yale. Butler was predicted as his most likely landing spot after he was recruited by Jeff Meyer, but Collins and the ‘Cats ultimately edged out the Bulldogs.
