Pat Fitzgerald didn't have to look too far to find a superback in this year's recruiting class; Brain Kaiser, a superback out of Winnetka, Illinois, has signed his letter of intent to play at Northwestern.
Aside from Northwestern, Kaiser held offers from Duke, Vanderbilt and Iowa State.
At 6-foot-7 and 210 pounds, Kaiser has great size for the position, and should be able to develop into a good target at the position during his time in Evanston.
The superback is always an important position in Mick McCall's offense, even if it gets used mostly as a blocker for stretches.
