Maggie Lyon will miss Northwestern's first game of the Big Ten Tournament against Wisconsin today. She was ruled out with a lower body injury and is currently wearing a walking boot on her left foot.
Lyon has been Northwestern's second-highest scorer on the team this season and her loss will be felt mostly from deep as Lyon is the team's best three-point shooter. Lyon also averages 5.7 rebounds and is tied for the highest average minutes on the team. Her leadership and court presence will also be sorely missed.
