After a finals week hiatus, Northwestern (6-3) bounced back from a three game skid in style, demolishing Chicago State (0-10) on field trip day in Welsh-Ryan.
Drawing ever closer to full strength, the Wildcats used a comprehensive effort to blow out the Cougars in front of the thousands of screaming children. Lindsey Pulliam, Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah, Sydney Wood, Veronica Burton, Abbie Wolf, and Amber Jamison each scored in double figures. Lauryn Satterwhite, debuting after missing all of last season and the start of this one with a leg injury, recorded her first two baskets. Even little-used Brooke Pikiell got in on the scoring.
