Simply put, Northwestern needs a win against an 0-3 Ohio on Saturday to prevent its season from entering a doomsday scenario. Luckily for ‘Cats fans, it appears the program is aware of that, as it announced via tweet that NU would wear a lucky uniform combination against the Bobcats:
The uniform features the Wildcats’ flagship purple jersey and black pants and helmets with matching purple “Block N” logos outlined in white. According to former Daily Northwestern staffer (and newly-announced Washington Post editor) Ella Brockway, NU is undefeated in this uniform, winning all six of the contests it has played in these particular threads.
