Northwestern will honor Aaron Falzon on Senior Day before Saturday’s game against Purdue, an athletics department spokesman confirmed to Inside NU.
An academic senior, Falzon is set to graduate this year. Eligibility-wise, Falzon is a junior after receiving a medical redshirt for the 2016-2017 season, when his season was cut short after just three games due to a knee injury that required surgery.
After a loss to Minnesota last Thursday, head coach Chris Collins included Falzon as part of the senior class, in response to a question about the his mindset looking ahead. Here’s the full quote:
“Well, right now, I’m not thinking about the future, I’m thinking about this team because it’s a disservice to that senior class, so I’ll think about the future when we’re told we don’t have any games and we have to turn the page.
