Northwestern-Rutgers Final Score: Northwestern comes from behind to defeat Rutgers 69-65

EVANSTON - That sound you here is Northwestern fans breathing a sigh of relief.

Despite being pushed to the limit, the Northwestern Wildcats (20-7, 9-5 B1G) managed to hold off the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (13-15, 2-13) winning 69-65 Saturday afternoon at Welsh-Ryan Arena.

Bryant McIntosh led the way for the Wildcats, scoring 18 points to go along with 6 assists and the go ahead three-pointer with under a minute left. Dererk Pardon was a major contributor as well with 12 points and 8 rebounds. In his much anticipated return to the court, Scottie Lindsey played 24 minutes and scored 6 points.
