Northwestern (4-1) rebounded from a blowout loss with a blowout win in the Wooden Legacy, defeating La Salle (0-6) 91-74 Friday.
Ryan Taylor and Vic Law both scored 21 points, on 6-of-15 and 3-of-10 shooting, respectively, and Law went 14-of-16 at the free the line in an expected NU win over a winless La Salle team. The Explorers caught some fire late in the game, so the final score was a bit closer than the game felt.
Northwestern didn’t shoot the ball great — it went 8-of-23 from three and shot 48 percent from the floor — but it won comfortably.
