EVANSTON, IL- The Northwestern Wildcats basketball squad got the 2015-2016 season off to the right start on Thursday night. Granted it was only an exhibition game, but it could give an indication as to what may be in store for NU’s opponents once the games count. In their 80-64 victory over Division-II Quincy (IL) University, the Wildcats played a complete team game on both ends of the floor. They were efficient and consistent on offense, and they suffocated the Hawks on defense.
