Northwestern basketball recruiting: Four-star wing Miller Kopp commits

Some big basketball recruiting news: four-star wing Miller Kopp has committed to Northwestern, he announced on Twitter.

The Northwestern coaching staff recently had an in-home visit with Kopp, and the Houston-area player was just in Evanston for his official visit last week, which apparently sealed the deal for Chris Collins & Co. Kopp’s commitment fills out Northwestern’s Class of 2018, which also includes Jordan Lathon, Pete Nance, and Ryan Young.

For Collins, getting Kopp makes an already good 2018 class one of the best in the Big Ten. At 6-foot-6 and 200 pounds, Kopp has good size and shooting ability on the wing, fitting in with the versatile, position-less trend that has swept through the Northwestern program, as well as college basketball nationwide.
