Class of 2017 wide receiver Kyric McGowan has committed to Northwestern. McGowan announced his decision on Twitter.
McGowan, out of Dalton High School in Dalton, Georgia, picked the Wildcats over a host of other schools, including Power Five teams Duke, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
The 5-foot-10, 183-pound McGowan is a three-star recruit with a 247 Composite score of .8265.
Although McGowan is listed at both defensive back and wide receiver, he will play on the offensive side of the ball in Evanston. He has experience at running back as well and looks to be very explosive with the ball in his hands.
