With a trip to the Final Four on the line, No. 4 seed Northwestern will host No. 5 seed Syracuse in Martin Stadium this Saturday at 1 p.m. CST.
The Orange gave the Wildcats their first loss of the regular season in overtime this February. However, historically, Northwestern is 5-0 against Syracuse at home, and 8-3 overall.
Junior attacker Emily Hawryschuk scored the game winner for Syracuse in the earlier matchup between the two teams, and she also contributed five goals in their win over Georgetown in the first round of the tournament. Hawryschuk leads the Orange with 70 goals in the 2019 season (ninth highest in the country).
