The winner of Friday's game earns the No. 8 seed and a first-round meeting with the NBA-leading Phoenix Suns. The Clippers lost to the Suns in six games in last year's conference finals.
George recently returned to the court after suffering a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his shooting elbow in December. He is averaging 24.
