Former NU captain JerShon Cobb is the new Director of Player Development, the men’s basketball program announced in a press release Thursday afternoon.
With the hire, Chris Collins has completed his staff for the 2018-19 season. Cobb replaces A.J. Guyton, who joined Tavaras Hardy at Loyola (Md.) as an assistant coach following one year as NU’s Director of Player Development.
Along with the press release, the program announced the hire with a video featuring some of Cobb’s Wildcat highlights.
Cobb played in 94 games at guard for Northwestern from 2010-11 to 2014-15, averaging 8.
